On Kalshi's Chicago high-temperature market, this strategy checks conditions every 60 seconds using National Weather Service data from Midway. It cancels any open orders if the current temperature is 71F or below, observations are 15 minutes old, price is at or below 0.15 or at or above 0.5, spread is under 0.02, expiry is within 45 minutes, or a position exists. Otherwise, with no position and all conditions calm, it posts a buy for 40 yes contracts one cent above the best bid, capped at 100 contracts.
