On Kalshi's KXHIGHCHI market it re-checks every 60 seconds, capped at 100 contracts. Rule 1 cancels all orders if the Chicago temp is at or below 71F, the observation is 900+ seconds old, price is at 0.15 or below or 0.5 or above, spread is under 0.02, expiry is within 45 minutes, or a position is already open. Rule 2 otherwise buys 40 YES at best bid plus 0.01 post-only, and rules 3-5 sell everything if the next-hour temp tops 72 with price above 0.66, expiry nears 45 minutes, or unrealized loss passes -3.
