On Kalshi's Chicago high-temperature market, this strategy checks every 60 seconds and cancels all orders if the temperature is at or below 71, the reading is stale, price leaves 0.15 to 0.5, the spread is under 0.02, or expiry is within 45 minutes. Otherwise, with no position, it buys 40 YES contracts at the best bid plus 0.01. It sells everything if the next-hour temperature exceeds 72 with price above 0.66, near expiry, or on a loss below -3.
