This strategy trades the KXHIGHNY market every 30 minutes. It buys up to 3 YES contracts when the temperature is near the forecast high, rising, and wind is light, price under 70¢, at least 2 hours left; buys up to 3 NO contracts when temperature is far below forecast and falling, price above 30¢, at least 2 hours left. Total position capped at 5 contracts. Exits entirely if unrealized profit ≥ $4, loss ≤ -$5, or expiry ≤ 30 minutes.
