This strategy trades the KXBTC15M market on Kalshi every 10 seconds. It buys yes or no contracts in sizes of 5 or 10 when Bitcoin’s price moves relative to its 1-hour VWAP, 1-minute EMA, or 5-minute change, while the market price stays within set floors and ceilings and the spread is tight. Positions are exited automatically if the unrealized PnL hits tiered take-profit or stop-loss levels based on position size, a flat -$8 stop, or when time to expiry falls to 2 minutes or 30 seconds, with a hard cap of 5000 total contracts.

Methodology: Backtests replay supported historical market data, usually a 30-day Studio window, and evaluate strategy rules on the available cadence. Signals can fill no earlier than the next tradable step. Taker fills use top-of-book prices or available L2 depth, with Kalshi-style fees where modeled. Queue position, latency, and future liquidity are not fully modeled. Simulated P&L is net of modeled fees over the window.
Starting capital: Kalshi backtests use the strategy's configured max position as the risk-capital denominator. Return is computed from that configured capital, while total P&L is still shown in dollars.
