A Kalshi sports bot runs the rules you already trade by hand on live games: buy the dip, take profit near 90¢, and get out when the bid falls too far. TurbineFi Bots read Kalshi’s live score and clock, add a stop to every buy, run a Paper Run on a real game first, and trade only through your own Kalshi API key.
A Kalshi sports bot is software that trades Kalshi game contracts by rules you set: which team, what price to buy at, when to take profit, when to cut a loss, and when to stop trading late in a game. Kalshi itself has no stop-loss order on event contracts; its Auto Sell only takes profit at or above what you paid. A TurbineFi Bot checks the price and the live game state every loop and sends the sell itself. It does not pick winners. You choose the game, the team, and the rules, and the Bot follows them on your own account.
When TurbineFi fits live-game trading on Kalshi
TurbineFi fits Kalshi traders who already trade games by hand and want the same rules to run without watching every possession: entries tied to the score and clock, a stop and target on each buy, and a cutoff before the final minutes. It does not fit someone looking for picks, guaranteed edges, or a backtest of in-game rules.
Rules read Kalshi’s live score, period, and clock for football, basketball, hockey, and soccer.
Every buy can carry its own stop and target, which Kalshi’s event contracts don’t offer.
Each strategy runs as a Paper Run on a live game before you trade real money.
You pick the game and the team. TurbineFi sells no picks.
From idea to live bot
How a Kalshi sports bot goes from plain rules to a live game
Write the rule in plain English. Turbine turns it into logic you can inspect, test, and control before anything goes live.
01
Write the Rules You Already Trade by Hand
Describe the trade the way you would to a friend: the team, the dip you buy, where you take profit, and where you get out. Studio turns it into a strategy you can read line by line before anything runs.
Buy a team at or below a price, only while the game is live.
Take profit at a bid you name, such as 90¢, or a set amount above each fill.
Sell each buy if its bid falls a set amount below what it paid.
02
Read the Live Score and Clock
Sports rules read Kalshi’s own live game feed, the one behind its scoreboard, from your team’s side. The default refresh is every 10 seconds. NFL and NBA strategies can also read ESPN’s live win probability.
Football (NFL and college), basketball, hockey, and soccer games.
Status, period, clock, score, lead, and possession in football and basketball.
If Kalshi flags the feed as delayed or it stops answering, new buys pause and exits keep running.
03
Start From a Sports Template
Pick a game in Studio and start from a template, or describe your own rules in chat. Each template fills in prices from the team’s price when you pick the game, and you can change any number.
Range Swing: buys either team 7¢ below its price when you picked the game, sells 7¢ above, repeats, and stops new buys in the last 15 minutes.
Panic Fade: buys one 15¢ drop while the team is within a score with time left, and sells once about half the drop recovers.
Model Edge: buys when ESPN’s win probability is at least 8 points above the Kalshi price. NFL and NBA games.
Stop and Target: buys once, sells 10¢ higher, and sells if the bid falls 10¢ below what it paid. Works on any Kalshi game.
Pregame Limit: rests a bid 3¢ under the team’s price before the game and cancels it if it hasn’t filled at the start.
04
Paper Run a Live Game First
Live score and clock data has no past games to replay, so a strategy that reads it is tested in a Paper Run, not a historical backtest. The Bot follows a real game and simulates its orders against the live order book without sending them to Kalshi.
Watch when each rule fires, and why the Bot skipped a buy.
See how far below the stop a sell landed when the price jumped.
Paper fills are simulated, so live fills can be worse.
05
Deploy on Your Own Kalshi Keys
A live Bot runs on your private runner and signs orders with your own Kalshi API key. It trades your account only, inside the limits you set, and you can stop it from Studio.
Set the most contracts, dollars, and loss the Bot may risk.
Stopping a Bot ends its rules. It does not close your open positions.
Let the Bot manage its own positions: a manual sell on contracts it tracks with per-fill stops pauses its new buys.

Watch the core Turbine Studio loop: describe a strategy, inspect the generated logic, review a backtest, then decide whether it is worth running.
What traders say about Turbine
Excerpts from reviews by people building bots with Turbine.
I have been using TurbineFi for about 3 months now and they are great. They are super fast to reply and fix any issues that you may be encountering. The AI system that they use to help assist in building bots is also great.Very easy for someone that does not have a coding background.
So far, TurbineFi has been exceptional! Their customer service responded within 5 minutes and fixed the issue! Their bots are working very well for me.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about TurbineFi. ... they’ve been incredibly responsive and actually taken the time to help me figure it out. ... Being able to take a strategy I’ve worked out and have a bot actually execute it is pretty incredible.
This platform is on easy mode, i had no experience at all on this but you have a lot of tools to get started, everything is fully explained, AI assistance all the time and super high speed support team always available and willing to help. 100% worth it.
You can tell a lot of love was put into this project. Very friendly UI and easy to use tools. The creator is a very knowledgable and customer service is top notch.
TurbineFi's been a solid way for me to get into automated trading without needing to code. ... I like that you can backtest ideas before putting real money on them. ... Their support actually answers questions and knows what they're talking about.
TurbineFi's research and tools make automated trading on prediction markets dead simple. I was planning to build my own trading bot on Kalshi, but TurbineFi let me deploy my strategy in minutes instead of hours.
TurbineFi has let me turn prediction markets into a playable game...10 out 10 would recommend. Being able to chat and create strategies is extremely helpful and allows for an intuitive learning process.
Yes. Kalshi publishes a trading API, and its Developer Agreement allows API use for a member’s own trading on the exchange. A TurbineFi Bot uses your own Kalshi API key and trades only your account.
Does Kalshi allow automated trading?
Yes, for your own account. Kalshi’s Developer Agreement limits API use to facilitating a member’s own trading and disallows other uses, such as trading for other members or redistributing market data. Kalshi also sets API rate limits and can throttle or end API access.
What bots can trade on Kalshi?
Any software that places orders through your own Kalshi API key: scripts you write against the API, or hosted builders such as TurbineFi and Bot for Kalshi. For live games, check whether a bot can read the score and clock, attach a stop to each buy, and test on a live game before trading real money.
Is a Kalshi sports bot a picks service?
No. TurbineFi does not tell you who will win or sell picks. You choose the game, the team, and the rules, and the Bot follows those rules on your account. Templates set prices from the market when you pick the game; they are not predictions.
Can I backtest a Kalshi sports bot?
Not one that reads live game data. The live score, clock, and ESPN win probability have no past games to replay in Studio, so those strategies are tested in a Paper Run on a live game before you deploy real money.
Does Kalshi have a stop loss for sports contracts?
No. Kalshi’s Auto Sell is a take-profit that can’t be set below what you paid, and stop-loss triggers exist only for Kalshi Perps. A TurbineFi Bot adds a stop by selling each buy once the bid falls a set amount below its fill price. In a fast game it sells at the bid it finds, which can be below the stop.
Which sports can a Kalshi sports bot trade?
Score and clock rules cover football (NFL and college), basketball, hockey, and soccer. ESPN win probability covers NFL and NBA games. Price-only rules, such as the Stop and Target template, run on any Kalshi game, including tennis and baseball.
Can a Kalshi sports bot guarantee profits?
No. A Bot follows your rules consistently, but games, prices, fills, fees, and data delays can all go against you.
