How to use the arbitrage calculator
Enter odds for every mutually exclusive outcome and your total budget. The calculator sums the reciprocal decimal odds. A total below one indicates a theoretical arbitrage before costs. Stakes are weighted by each outcome’s reciprocal odds.
Stake i = total budget × (1 / odds i) ÷ Σ(1 / odds); net result = budget / Σ(1 / odds) − budgetA worked example
With +110 on both sides and a $100 total budget, allocate $50 to each outcome. Either winning side returns $105, leaving a $5 net result before costs. At −110 on both sides, the calculation shows a loss instead.
What the numbers can tell you
All possible outcomes must be covered under matching settlement rules. For a three-way soccer market, include the draw. Displayed results exclude fees, stake rounding, limits, price changes, and the risk that one side cannot be filled.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the calculator show a negative result?
The prices do not form an arbitrage. Equalizing payouts can still lock in a theoretical loss; changing the stake size does not change that percentage edge.
Does this find live arbitrage opportunities?
No. Enter prices you want to compare. The tool calculates stakes locally and does not scan venues or place orders.
